As diverse as it is talented, our team brings a wealth of marketing, sales, technology, and business consulting experience to every engagement it participates in, and is passionate about delivering relevant results to each and every one of our clients.
Here’s an overview of our core executive team:
Hanif Mohamed, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
One of TxtMeNow’s two original founders, Hanif brings over six years of experience managing diverse teams of technology consultants to TxtMeNow, where he devises short and long-term business, product and growth strategies. Hanif holds an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business as well as a Project Manage
ment Professional (PMP) designation. In his spare time, he plays hockey, finds new ways of using his iPad to simplify his life, and to the chagrin of his neighbours, is passionate about playing the drums.
Shamsu Bhaidani, Founder and Innovation Lead
Shamsu has extensive experience both in IT, managing and delivering highly technical IT software development projects to prominent firms in Western Canada, and as a technology entrepreneur, by commercializing and successfully operating FocusForums, a web-based qualitative research application provider. Shamsu brought his keen understanding of technology and the marketing needs of corporations together and developed TxtMeNow - an SMS text based and mobile web page marketing tour de force, where customers, upon request only, can get product and/or service information instantaneously and continue receiving more information up to the point where they decide to purchase using mobile web page functionality. His technology has many applications to the marketing world where corporations are looking for ways to engage their clients, expand their brand awareness, and encourage customer loyalty. Ken Whiteside, Chief Financial Officer
Ken brings over 25 years of experience to TxtMeNow as an entrepreneur, financial professional and financial systems expert. Ken’s experience includes roles as a management consultant, project manager and solutions architect with KPMG Consulting and SAP Canada. Since 2002, Ken has engaged in a number projects as a contract CFO for technology start-ups, and as a consultant and project manager for technology-intensive business optimization projects. Ken holds degrees in music from the University of British Columbia, an MBA from the University of Saskatchewan, and a CMA accounting designation. He is an avid skier, runner, musician and motorcyclist.
Jaime Bonk, VP of Business Development
Faizan Sabzaali, Technology Architect
Faizan has over 12 years of IT experience in systems and software design and integration working with renowned corporations throughout North America. Receiving his IT training at DePaul University in Chicago, Faizan has provided custom solutions for industries like Finance, Media, Not-for-Profit organizations, and Entertainment. Faizan now brings his enthusiasm for software and design and extensive experience to TxtMeNow, where he promotes customizable technical solutions and delivers products that add value to marketing campaigns.
